
Ram Kapoor Headlines Musical Drama Series 'Khalbali Records': First Look Unveiled
Ram Kapoor is set to star as one of the lead characters in the highly anticipated musical drama series ‘Khalbali Records.’ The show also features Prabh Deep, Skand Thakur, Saloni Batra, and Salonie Patel in key roles. On Monday, the creators released the first look of the series, offering viewers a glimpse of the complex family dynamics at the heart of the story.
The first look teases intense family conflicts driven by differing career ambitions and ideologies. Notably, the teaser also features renowned musician Anu Malik, adding a musical touch to the drama.
JioCinema shared the teaser on Instagram, hinting at the drama and chaos the series will unfold. Their post read, “Bohot drame honge, bohot pange honge aur machegi bohot saari khalbali. KhalbaliRecords, streaming 12 September onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium (sic).“
In the teaser, Ram Kapoor delivers a powerful line: “Ek zamana tha, jab hum audience ke hisaab se gaane bajate the. Lekin ab, audience hamare hisaab se gaane sunti hai,” translating to “There was a time when we made music according to our audience. Now, we make the audience listen to our songs!“
Directed by Devanshu Singh and featuring a soundtrack by Amit Trivedi and Azadi Records, ‘Khalbali Records’ promises to be a captivating blend of drama and music. The series is set to premiere on JioCinema on September 12 and will be available exclusively on the platform.
