Ranbir Kapoor Adopts Sattvic Lifestyle, QUITS Alcohol For Lord Ram’s Role in Ramayana

Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly adopted a strictly disciplined lifestyle, including giving up meat and alcohol, as he prepares to embody the spiritual discipline of Lord Ram. The actor’s dedication is being praised as he works to authentically portray the divine character.

September 12, 2025: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is said to have made big changes to his life for the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari-directed film Ramayana. This shows how serious he is about playing Lord Ram. Several news sources say that the actor has stopped drinking and started eating vegetarian food to “embody the spiritual discipline” of his character.

The rumor, which has spread quickly on social media, says that Kapoor is working out early in the morning, eating a sattvic diet, and meditating to get the physical and mental purity he needs for the role. There has been no official word from the actor or the film’s production team, but industry insiders have backed up the allegations, and they have gotten a lot of public attention. Ranbir had said before that he wanted to quit smoking when his daughter Raha was born because he wanted to live a healthy life.

His co-stars have acknowledged Ranbir’s hard work. Indira Krishnan, who is also in the movie, has talked about how he changed from his character as an animal to the “serene and divine” Lord Ram. She said that he trained hard and was disciplined on set, where he stayed in character.

The movie, which will be released worldwide on Diwali 2026 and 2027, boasts a big cast. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, while Yash from KGF plays Ravana. Sunny Deol plays Hanuman and Ravie Dubey plays Laxman, along with other well-known actors. A teaser for the movie, which was shown to people in the industry and got good reviews, has made people even more excited for the project.
