Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt’s ‘Brahmastra’ Turns 2!

Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva marked a significant moment in Indian cinema, and its second anniversary has brought the spotlight back on the ambitious project.

Released on September 9, 2022, the film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, was a high-budget fantasy adventure that captivated audiences with its visual effects and storytelling centered around Indian mythology and astras (divine weapons).

The film starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in their first-ever on-screen collaboration and also featured performances by Bollywood stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy. Last month, the film added three National Awards to its accolades, winning Best Male Playback Singer (Arijit Singh for Kesariya), Best Film in AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comic), and Best VFX Film.
