Ranbir Kapoor Mistakenly Flirts With Harsh Gujral's Sister! WATCH
Ranbir Kapoor, at his brand launch, attempted to charm a girl with a ‘Rockstar’ line, telling her, ‘Tu aur main rock karenge.’ Comedian Harsh Gujral, standing next to him, shut down the flirtatious move by calmly revealing, ‘Ye meri sagi behen’.
October 6, 2025: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor‘s appearance at the Delhi store launch for his new fashion and lifestyle brand, ARKS, turned into a viral comedy sketch, thanks to an unexpected on-stage moment with comedian Harsh Gujral. A playful attempt by the actor to recreate a romantic ‘Rockstar’-esque move quickly backfired, much to the delight and laughter of the audience.
Ranbir, who was co-hosting the event with comedian Harsh Gujral, was in high spirits. Engaging with the crowd, he singled out a female fan and attempted to charm her with a classic, flirty line.
“Tu na badi cool lagti hai mujhe aur hot bhi lagti hai tu. Kamal combo hai na, hot-cool at the same time. Tu aur main rock karenge,” the actor said, channeling his famous on-screen romantic persona.
The crowd erupted in cheers, but the moment of movie magic was instantly shattered by the comedian beside him. A deadpan Harsh Gujral leaned into the microphone and delivered the punchline: “Ek baat batau, ye meri sagi behen (Can I tell you something, this is my own sister).”
An instantly embarrassed Ranbir Kapoor burst into laughter and quickly apologised to the comedian. In a brilliant piece of improv, the actor salvaged the situation by referencing his blockbuster film, ‘Animal’.
“Sunai deraha hai, behra nahi hoon main,” Ranbir quipped, delivering the iconic dialogue from his recent release, instantly turning the awkward moment into a viral highlight.
The store launch also served as a moment of nostalgia for Harsh Gujral. On October 5, the comedian shared a heartfelt video on Instagram detailing his journey with the actor, captioning it: “Fan 2015 → Frame 2025.”
Gujral recounted his first chance meeting with the actor in London back in 2015, where he was working as an engineer. He chased the actor’s black taxi down to a red light just to talk to him and capture a quick video.
The recent event saw the two share a warm hug on stage, where Ranbir praised the comedian’s talent. Gujral’s journey from a fan chasing a taxi to sharing the stage with the star as a co-host underscored the heartwarming moment, even after the actor’s hilarious faux pas. Ranbir Kapoor was in New Delhi to launch the ARKS brand, which was reportedly hosted by the stand-up comic.
