Ranveer Allahbadia Returns To Content Creation with A New Chapter After ‘India’s Got Latent’ Controversy

March 30, 2025: YouTuber and content creator Ranveer Allahbadia has made a comeback with his podcast, The Ranveer Show, after taking a break following significant public backlash over his involvement in the controversial India’s Got Latent show. On March 30, Allahbadia uploaded a video titled “Let’s Talk” on his YouTube channel, in which he offered a candid reflection on his time away from content creation and the challenges he faced during the aftermath of the controversy.

In the video, Allahbadia began by expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the supporters who stood by him during this difficult phase. “Namaste friends, first of all, I would like to say thank you to all the supporters and all the well-wishers. Your positive messages helped me and my family a lot because this phase was very difficult,” he said, acknowledging the importance of the encouragement he received.

The influencer also took the time to recognize the outpouring of support he received from family, friends, and colleagues, including several high-profile figures who reached out during the crisis. He shared that the period of forced hiatus gave him time for self-reflection, growth, and learning. “I have released two to three videos every week for the last 10 years without taking a break. I got a forced break. Learned to live with patience,” he mentioned.

During this time, Allahbadia turned to meditation, sadhana, and prayer to regain his mental well-being. He shared that these practices helped him cope and gave him the strength to reflect on his actions and understand the responsibilities that come with his influence.

Looking ahead, Allahbadia promised to use his platform more responsibly, particularly considering the significant impact he has on younger audiences. “In the next 10, 20, 30 years, as long as I create content, I will create content with more responsibility. This is my promise to you,” he said, showing optimism for his future endeavors.

He also reiterated his passion for content creation, especially podcasting, and his desire to focus on producing content that showcases India’s rich history and culture. “After this full stop, I am trying to write a new story,” he said, signaling the next phase of his career with a renewed sense of purpose and accountability.

In the video’s conclusion, Allahbadia promised to return as a “new Ranveer” and requested his audience to continue supporting him as he starts this new journey. “In this TRS restarting phase, all the people who have supported us so far, I have only one request. If possible, please make space for me in your heart. Give me one more chance,” he said, emphasizing that he hoped his show would continue to inspire positive change and elevate the quality of discourse in India.

The controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent arose from explicit and inappropriate content aired during the show, sparking widespread criticism. On March 7, Allahbadia appeared before the Crime Branch of the Guwahati Police Commissionerate as part of an investigation into the show, which led to legal and public scrutiny. An FIR was filed by the Guwahati Police accusing several influencers, including Allahbadia, of promoting obscenity, leading to charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act, and the Cinematograph Act.

Allahbadia has since acknowledged his mistake, particularly a comment he made during the show that garnered heavy criticism. In a previous apology video, he stated, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry.”

His return to content creation follows a ruling by the Supreme Court, which granted him permission to resume his podcast under strict guidelines to ensure future content adheres to standards of decency and morality.
