Ranveer Deletes Apology Post To ‘Pakistani Brothers and Sisters’ After Massive Troll Storm

May 11, 2025: YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, widely known as BeerBiceps, has found himself at the center of online controversy once again—this time for a now-deleted Instagram post addressing the people of Pakistan, shared in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack and India’s ongoing Operation Sindoor.

In the post, which appeared to aim for peace, Ranveer stated he harbored no hatred toward Pakistanis and extended an apology if his fellow countrymen appeared to be spreading animosity. “Just like many Indians, I don’t have hate in my heart for you… Whenever we meet Pakistanis, you invariably welcome us with love,” he wrote.

However, the message quickly drew ire across social media, with critics calling the post tone-deaf and poorly timed given the heightened national sentiment following the recent attack. The backlash prompted Ranveer to remove the post shortly after it went live.

What particularly fueled the criticism was his sharp condemnation of Pakistan’s military and intelligence service. In the post, he drew a distinction between ordinary Pakistani citizens and the country’s power structures, stating:

“Your country is not run by a government. It is run by your military and your secret service (The ISI)… These 2 villains have hurt your economy since independence. They have also constantly been responsible for terrorist attacks in India.”

He cited alleged proof to support his claims, including references to captured terrorists’ origins, military figures attending the funeral of terror affiliates, and a controversial statement by Pakistan’s defense minister Khawaja Asif.

Ranveer attempted to clarify that his remarks were directed solely at institutional forces, not the people of Pakistan, closing the post with:

“This is not: Indian People vs Pakistani People. This is: India vs Pakistani Military & ISI. Hope peace prevails in the long term, Inshallah.”

Despite his intentions, the post stirred intense backlash. One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “#BeerBiceps does not deserve any sympathy hereafter. Boycott his podcast.” Another said, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

In response to the outrage, Ranveer released a video urging people not to spread misinformation and reiterated his concerns about state-sponsored terrorism from across the border.

This is the second time in recent weeks that Allahbadia has faced controversy, following backlash related to the India’s Got Latent episode of his podcast. As the criticism grows, questions are being raised about his public messaging and responsibility as a high-profile digital creator.
