Ranveer Singh Cheers Rupali Ganguly’s Mom as Her Dance Reel on Dhurandhar Song Wins Celebrity Love

A fun family reel featuring Rupali Ganguly’s mother, Rajani Ganguly, has taken social media by storm, earning praise from Ranveer Singh, filmmaker Aditya Dhar, and several other celebrities. The video, shared by Rupali’s brother, choreographer Vijay Ganguly, shows their mother dancing joyfully to Shararat, a popular song from Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film Dhurandhar.

Since the film’s release earlier this month, Shararat—featuring Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza—has inspired countless dance reels online. Joining the trend, Vijay posted a cheerful Instagram Reel with his mother, calling her his “rockstar” and tagging Rupali, suggesting they should make a reel together soon. In the video, Rajani confidently grooves in her living room while Vijay cheers her on, ending the clip with a warm hug.

The reel quickly caught the attention of the film’s cast and crew. Ranveer Singh reacted enthusiastically, calling the performance “superb,” while director Aditya Dhar praised it as the best. Actors Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza also dropped appreciative comments, applauding Rajani’s energy and style.

Rupali Ganguly herself was clearly impressed, calling her mother a “rockstar” and dubbing it the best reel on the track. Farah Khan jokingly asked if Rajani would work with outside choreographers, while Tahira Kashyap and Palash Muchhal echoed the sentiment, praising her spirit and performance. Several other celebrities, including Gauahar Khan, Ganesh Acharya, Dhvani Bhanushali, and Neil Nitin Mukesh, also showered the reel with love. Even producers Jio Studios joined in, saying the hook step was learned and hearts were stolen.
