Ranveer Singh Film Dhurandhar Earns ₹1100 Cr; To Touch Jawan Soon

Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller becomes the first Bollywood film to breach the ₹700-crore net mark in India; global haul now stands at ₹1,101 crore.

December 31, 2025: On its 26th day at the box office, Aditya Dhar’s espionage epic Dhurandhar has officially cemented its status as a historic blockbuster. On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, the film capitalized on the New Year’s Eve festivities to rake in an estimated ₹11.25 crore net, pushing its total domestic collection to a staggering ₹712.25 crore.

The film has now surpassed the lifetime domestic earnings of every Bollywood film in history, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (₹643 crore) and Pathaan (₹543 crore). It currently trails only the Hindi version of Pushpa 2: The Rule (₹812 crore net) in the all-time domestic charts.

Worldwide Milestone: The ₹1,100 Crore Club

As of Wednesday morning, December 31, 2025, Dhurandhar has officially breached the ₹1,100 crore gross mark globally.

  • The Global Tally: With a domestic gross of ₹854.5 crore and an overseas contribution of ₹246.5 crore ($27.5 million), the total stands at ₹1,101 crore.
  • North American Domination: The film has emerged as a titan in the US and Canada, earning $17 million to date—surpassing the North American hauls of RRR and Jawan.
  • The “Jawan” Chase: It is now the 7th highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Trade analysts predict it will surpass the worldwide lifetime collection of Jawan (₹1,160 crore) by the coming Friday.

The Road to Top 5 All-Time

After Jawan, the film has its sights set on the massive lifetime totals of KGF: Chapter 2 (₹1,215 crore) and RRR (₹1,250 crore). If the momentum holds through the first week of January 2026, Dhurandhar could potentially finish its run as the 4th highest-grossing Indian film, behind only Dangal, Baahubali 2, and Pushpa 2.

About the Film

Directed by Aditya Dhar (Uri), the film stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian spy operating deep undercover in Karachi. The high-octane thriller features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal.
