Ranveer Singh Praises Amitabh Bachchan’s Iconic Running Style

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan never misses a chance to inspire his fans, and his latest post is proof of that. Among the many admirers, actor Ranveer Singh couldn’t resist reacting to the legendary actor’s latest video showcasing his signature running style.

In the early hours of Monday, Amitabh Bachchan delighted his followers by sharing a nostalgic video that juxtaposed scenes of his iconic running sequence from the 1990 film ‘Agneepath’ with a recent clip of him jogging in his garden, captioned, “still running for work from Agnipath to now.”

The video, highlighting Big B’s timeless energy and dedication, quickly garnered reactions from fans and industry peers. Ranveer Singh commented enthusiastically, “THE SIGNATURE RUNNING STYLE!!!” Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana dubbed him “G.O.A.T.,” and another user chimed in with, “Keep inspiring SIR.”

Amitabh Bachchan’s latest appearance is in the futuristic film ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ Since its release, both fans and the film industry have been raving about the performances, with accolades pouring in from all quarters. Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a post-apocalyptic narrative inspired by Hindu scriptures and set far into the future. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani, with special appearances by Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, and Mrunal Thakur.

Beyond ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy shooting for ‘Vettaiyan,’ where he stars alongside Rajinikanth.

On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for his role in Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated ‘Don 3.’ In August 2023, Farhan made a special announcement revealing that Ranveer would be the new Don in the third installment of the hit franchise. The teaser showcased Ranveer seated with his back to the camera, lighting a cigarette, and introducing himself as Don before turning to face the audience. His look was completed with a leather jacket, matching pants, boots, and sunglasses, signaling a stylish new chapter for the iconic character previously portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in earlier versions.

The ‘Don’ series has always been synonymous with compelling storytelling, thrilling action, and memorable moments. The original ‘Don,’ released in 1978, starred Amitabh Bachchan and became a classic. The 2006 remake, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Boman Irani, won Best Asian Film at the Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival. Its sequel, ‘Don 2,’ released in 2011, continued the franchise’s success, with Hrithik Roshan making a special appearance.

As Ranveer Singh steps into the shoes of Don, fans eagerly anticipate how he will carry forward the legacy of this beloved franchise. In the meantime, Amitabh Bachchan continues to inspire with his enduring charisma and dedication to his craft, proving that true legends never slow down.
