About ‘Dhurandhar’ Franchise

The Dhurandhar franchise has emerged as one of the biggest cinematic successes in recent times. The first film followed Ranveer Singh’s character, an Indian spy infiltrating gang networks in Karachi’s Lyari area to dismantle a terror operation targeting India. The narrative was set against real-life geopolitical events such as the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Parliament attack, and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

The sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, expands on the origin story of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, tracing his transformation into the covert operative Hamza Ali Mazari. The film explores both the psychological and physical evolution of the character while continuing the high-stakes mission.

Apart from Ranveer, the film features performances by Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Pandor, among others.
