Rashmika Mandanna Roars as Gond Warrior in ‘Mysaa’ First Glimpse

The actress sheds her “National Crush” image for a feral, blood-smeared avatar in the action-thriller; teaser hints at a “nature-defying force” rooted in tribal mythology.

December 24, 2025: In a radical departure from her recent “innocent” roles, Rashmika Mandanna has set the digital space on fire with the first official glimpse of her upcoming film, Mysaa.

Released on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at precisely 11:07 AM, the 60-second teaser introduces Rashmika as a “wounded woman whose rage overpowers nature,” establishing the film as one of the most anticipated action entertainers of 2026.

The Glimpse: Feral, Raw, and Rebellious

The teaser opens with a haunting voiceover before cutting to a forest engulfed in flames.

The Avatar: Rashmika is seen marching toward an army of enemies, her face smeared with blood and grime. She holds a heavy weapon in one hand, while a broken handcuff dangles from her left wrist—hinting at a criminal past or a daring escape.

The Performance: Unlike her roles in Pushpa or Animal, Mysaa showcases a “feral” side of the actress. The glimpse ends with a bone-chilling growl as she stares directly into the camera.

The Caption: Sharing the video, Rashmika teased, “This is just the tip of the iceberg… the serious stuff? Ohhohoho, you’ll see it in a couple of months!”

Deep-Rooted in Gond Culture

Directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle, Mysaa is more than just a standard action film.

  • Tribal Narrative: The story is reportedly set in the culturally rich world of the Gond community. Rashmika underwent months of combat training and dialect coaching to portray a woman from the tribe.
  • Cinematic Scale: The film features top-tier technical talent, including international stunt director Andy Long (Kalki 2898 AD) and composer Jakes Bejoy (Saripodhaa Sanivaaram).
  • Cast: Alongside Rashmika, the film stars powerhouse performers like Guru Somasundaram, Eeswari Rao, and Rao Ramesh.

Rashmika’s Power-Packed 2026 Slate

The release of the Mysaa glimpse caps off a massive year for the actress and sets the stage for a dominant 2026.
