The much-anticipated film Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, has begun its promotional tour with a grand event in Chennai. The star cast was seen celebrating the launch, but it was Rashmika’s touching gesture of sitting near Nagarjuna’s feet that caught everyone’s attention and won fans’ hearts.

Sharing glimpses of the event on her Instagram, Rashmika expressed her affection for Chennai, saying, “Chennai holds a very dear place in my heart because of my childhood, so I was very happy.” She also praised the talented cast and crew, describing the film as a “perfectly seasoned dish, made just for you, with all the right ingredients of magic.”
The film, directed by Sekhar Kammula and featuring music by Devi Sri Prasad, is a multilingual project shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. It explores themes of power and wealth, centering around Dhanush’s character—a homeless man from Mumbai’s Dharavi slums who rises to become a mafia leader. Nagarjuna’s role promises complexity, while Rashmika plays a woman yearning for more from her middle-class life.
The first song from the film, Poyiraa Mama, has already been released and well-received, with Dhanush lending his voice for the Tamil and Telugu versions.
Alongside Kuberaa, Dhanush has upcoming projects like Tere Ishq Mein and the biopic Kalam: The Missile Man of India. Rashmika is also set to appear in Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana, slated for a Diwali release.
Kuberaa is scheduled to release on June 20th, and fans eagerly await this star-studded cinematic journey.
