Raveena Tandon Issues An Apology To Fans In London
Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon recently issued an apology to her fans in London after abruptly walking away without taking selfies with them.
In a heartfelt post on her X (formerly Twitter) account, she explained the reasons behind her actions, referencing a past incident that left her shaken.
In her post, Raveena shared that her response stemmed from a previous experience in Bandra, Mumbai, where she was falsely accused of being involved in a car accident while intoxicated. Although the Mumbai police later dismissed the claims, the event left a lasting impact on her. Reflecting on the London incident, she explained that a group of men approached her while she was walking alone, and given her unease about the crime situation in the city, she instinctively panicked and walked away.
She expressed her regret, writing, “I should’ve probably given them a photo as maybe they were innocent fans, but I panicked and walked away fast.” Raveena added that she feels more comfortable when surrounded by others but still struggles with anxiety when alone due to the earlier traumatic experience.
In a genuine display of remorse, the actress apologized to her fans and hoped for another chance to meet them, saying, “Hope I can meet you again and click a picture with you, maybe. I try my best to be accessible and normal, but I fail at times. So sorry guys.”
This incident follows a previous altercation involving her driver in Mumbai, which may have also contributed to her heightened anxiety.
