Raveena Tandon Sings 'Lehra Do' as She Celebrates Independence Day with Kids
Actor Raveena Tandon marked the 78th Independence Day with a heartfelt tribute, singing the patriotic song Lehra Do from the film ’83. On Thursday, she shared a video on Instagram, where she is seen passionately singing the song while holding the National Flag.
In a follow-up video, Raveena’s children, Rasha and Ranbirvardhan, joined her in the celebrations, adding to the patriotic spirit of the occasion.
Accompanying the video, Raveena captioned her post, “Needed to get the lip sync right! In the Spirit of it all!!!! Happy Independence Day! Jai Hind. (Sorry for the repost – phone or Insta, something glitching since morning).”
Raveena’s tribute was in line with the nationwide celebrations, as earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the National Flag at the Red Fort in New Delhi. This marked his 11th consecutive Independence Day address, making him the third Prime Minister, after Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi, to reach this milestone. The theme for this year’s Independence Day is ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’, reflecting the Government’s vision to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.
On the professional front, Raveena Tandon was recently seen in the movie Ghudchadi alongside Sanjay Dutt. The film also features Khushalii Kumar and Parth Samthaan, with Binoy Gandhi directing and Nidhi Dutta and Binnoy K Gandhi producing. Additionally, Raveena is set to appear in Welcome 3, joining a star-studded cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, and Paresh Rawal.
Raveena’s Independence Day celebration and her upcoming projects continue to keep her fans engaged and excited.
