The actor shared insights into his dedication to the role, revealing how he drew inspiration from a Bihar police officer he had met. “Right from the mannerisms to the authentic body language as a cop, that officer left a lasting impression on me,” Ravi said.

To add authenticity to his character, Ravi also committed to a unique character trait—chewing paan. He disclosed that he ate about 160 paans during the shoot to perfect this quirk, which was suggested by director Kiran Rao as a way to enhance the character’s personality.

“Kiran Rao wanted the character to be snacking while speaking. That’s when the idea of chewing paan came up, and it eventually became a defining trait of Manohar,” Ravi explained.
