July 16, 2025: Telugu cinema star Ravi Teja is mourning the loss of his father, Bhupathiraju Rajagopal Raju, who passed away on Tuesday night, July 15, at the age of 90. According to publicists close to the family, Rajagopal Raju breathed his last at Ravi Teja’s residence in Hyderabad. The news has left the actor’s family, friends, and fans shocked and saddened.
Rajagopal Raju was a pharmacist by profession and was known for leading a quiet, low-profile life in Hyderabad, away from the glitz and glamour of his son’s film career. Despite Ravi Teja’s massive popularity in Tollywood, his parents preferred to remain out of the spotlight.
He is survived by his wife, Rajya Lakshmi, and sons Ravi Teja and Raghu Raju. His younger son, Bharath Raju, tragically died in a car accident a few years ago.
