Rekha Shares Heartwarming Reunion With Dharmendra At 'Loveyapa' Screening
February 5, 2025: Bollywood’s iconic legends, Rekha and Dharmendra, made a memorable appearance together at the special screening of the upcoming romantic drama Loveyapa on February 4 in Mumbai.
The screening, which was held ahead of the film’s official release, featured a star-studded guest list, but it was the heartwarming reunion between Rekha and Dharmendra that truly captivated the attention of fans and attendees.
Rekha, always known for her timeless elegance, turned heads as she attended the event wearing a stunning gold and white silk saree paired with her signature red sindoor. Her grace was unmistakable as she posed for the cameras, engaging in friendly conversations with Dharmendra and actor Aamir Khan outside the venue.
Dharmendra and Rekha, who share a strong bond forged over decades of collaboration in Bollywood, were seen enjoying each other’s company at the screening. Their camaraderie was evident, with the two reminiscing about their iconic films, including Ram Balram, Kartavya, Kahani, Kasam Suhag Ki, and more. A standout moment between them was their classic song Rafta Rafta Dekho Aankh Meri Ladi Hai from Kahani Qismat Ki, which continues to be a favorite among fans.
Other notable personalities at the event included cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who was accompanied by his wife Anjali Tendulkar, as well as political leader Raj Thackeray. Bollywood’s beloved couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, also made an entrance hand-in-hand, adding to the glamour of the evening.
The film Loveyapa, which marks the Bollywood debut of Junaid Khan (Aamir Khan’s son) and Khushi Kapoor (daughter of the late Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor), is a romantic drama directed by Advait Chandan. Both Junaid and Khushi are busy promoting the film, with Junaid sharing amusing stories from the set. He jokingly complained about Khushi’s punctuality, revealing that she often arrived at the set half an hour early, while he would show up just on time. Khushi, on the other hand, explained that she has a habit of always arriving early due to childhood routines and a tendency to feel tense even with a slight delay.
Loveyapa is set to release in theatres on February 7, and with its star-studded cast and positive buzz, it is already generating excitement among moviegoers.
