June 9, 2025: While Laal Pari, the peppy dance number from Housefull 5, continues to trend across social media platforms, a cloud of controversy now looms over the film’s choreography. Popular content creator Sandip Brahamin has accused veteran choreographer Remo D’Souza of copying one of his signature dance moves without giving him credit.

Taking to Instagram, Sandip posted a comparison video showing a step from Laal Pari — featuring the cast in hats shaking their heads — alongside his earlier video where he performs a strikingly similar move. Sandip claimed the choreography closely mirrors a dance step he had popularized through his content.
“You all have seen my signature moves. My move has been copied in the Housefull 5 song Laal Pari. Many of my friends DMed me after watching the video. I checked again on Instagram and YouTube — there’s no mention, no credit. I don’t know what is happening,” he said in the video.
He urged his followers to amplify his message, adding, “I want you guys to share this video as much as possible. I need your support.”
The video has since gained traction online, shared across fan accounts and digital creator communities. As of now, Remo D’Souza and the Housefull 5 team have not issued a statement in response to the allegation.
Despite the controversy, Laal Pari, sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Simar Kaur, has gone viral. Social media is buzzing with reels and dance challenges featuring fans imitating the catchy choreography. The song includes star-studded visuals with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, and Nargis Fakhri.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 released on June 6 and has stormed the box office. The film raked in ₹87 crore in its opening weekend and is poised to surpass the ₹100 crore mark soon — making it the biggest opener in the Housefull franchise so far.
