Richa Chadha Backs Woman In IndiGo Harassment Claim
Actor voices support after passenger alleges molestation during Delhi–Mumbai flight
March 11, 2026: Actor Richa Chadha has expressed support for a woman who alleged that she was molested by a co-passenger on an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Mumbai. The woman, identified as Khansa Juned, shared her experience on X and posted a picture of the man she accused of inappropriate behaviour. Quoting her post, Chadha wrote, “Make him famous,” expressing solidarity with the complainant.
Juned alleged that the man, identified as Nidhish Gopalkri Nair, tried to touch her inappropriately while she was asleep during the flight. She claimed the incident occurred twice and that the second time she was awake and caught him in the act. According to her account, when she confronted him about the alleged misconduct, he dismissed the accusation and said she was hallucinating.
The post triggered widespread reactions on social media. While some users supported Juned, others questioned why the incident was not immediately reported to the cabin crew. Radio jockey Sayema also backed the woman, arguing that a victim’s experience should not be dismissed simply because others demand proof, and called for greater empathy and solidarity in such situations.
