In an exclusive statement, Riddhima dismissed the rumors, calling the situation misunderstood:

“The whole thing got blown out of proportion. The poor child was only trying to pose. She wasn’t upset at all. In fact, she was really excited and kept talking about how she would pose for the cameras. Since the paparazzi wanted us to pose together, she was just trying to find her space—she didn’t push her nani.”

According to Riddhima, even Samara was baffled by the controversy, questioning:
“When did I push her? I was just trying to pose and extend my arm comfortably!”
