
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni Makes Her Bollywood Debut with Kapil Sharma: “Firsts Are Always Special”
May 30, 2025: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of legendary actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, is officially stepping into Bollywood with her debut film alongside comedian Kapil Sharma. The project, currently shot in the scenic town of Shimla, marks an exciting new chapter in Riddhima’s life.
Taking to Instagram, Riddhima shared her heartfelt emotions about the journey.
“Firsts are always special,” she wrote. “For 52 days, over 200 people came together to tell this heartwarming, funny, and beautiful film. We plotted, we danced, we laugh-cried and cried-laughed… I cannot wait for you to join in the celebrations when this film hits your screens.”

She also posted a series of pictures with her cast and crew, captioning them simply as “Parivar,” highlighting the bond she formed with the team.
The film also stars Neetu Kapoor, Sadia Khateeb, Sarath Kumar, and Aditi Mittal. While the movie’s title and release date are still under wraps, anticipation is already building.
Child actor and co-star Vidhaan Sharma penned an emotional note to Riddhima, saying,
“There is only one thing more precious than our time and that’s who we spend it on… So much learnt from you and all that you gave selflessly will be etched forever in my heart.”
