March 8, 2025: Robert Pattinson recently shared an amusing and relatable story about his reaction to horror films and his growing sensitivity to them over the years. In a conversation with Mickey 17 director Bong Joon Ho, Pattinson admitted that while he used to enjoy dark and intense films when he was younger, he now finds himself more easily frightened.

He recalled a recent experience where, after watching a horror movie, he became so paranoid that he grabbed two kitchen knives and waited on his couch, convinced someone was breaking into his house. His girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse, found him asleep with the knives near his neck, which led to a funny but concerning moment. Pattinson humorously speculated that the noise he heard was probably just a squirrel.

In addition to his horror movie anxieties, Pattinson also revealed his nerves during the filming of a dance sequence in Die, My Love with Jennifer Lawrence. Despite working with accomplished dancers like Lawrence and director Lynne Ramsay, Pattinson admitted that dancing on set made him sweat profusely, adding a humorous layer to his otherwise serious acting career.

Pattinson’s openness about his vulnerabilities and quirks adds a refreshing and relatable touch to his public persona, showing that even seasoned actors experience moments of anxiety and self-doubt.
