Robinhood Box Office Day 8: Nithiin’s Heist Drama Tanks Globally, Fails To Cross ₹15 Cr Mark
April 6, 2025: Nithiin and Sreeleela’s much-hyped action-comedy Robinhood has turned out to be one of the biggest box office failures of 2025. Despite a promising pre-release buzz and decent promotions, the film opened to poor reviews and has been battered by both critics and audiences alike.
Released on March 28, the Telugu heist comedy directed by Venky Kudumula has earned just ₹10.64 crore net in India after 8 days. That translates to ₹12.55 crore gross in India and an additional ₹1.55 crore from overseas, taking the total worldwide collection to a disappointing ₹14.10 crore gross.
With negligible momentum in its second weekend and nearly all overseas screens phasing it out, Robinhood is expected to wrap its run below ₹20 crore worldwide — less than 30% of its budget, marking a major commercial failure for both Mythri Movie Makers and lead actor Nithiin.

The film’s flawed screenplay, weak character arcs, and poor execution have been cited as key reasons for its downfall. Despite a star-studded cast including Vennela Kishore and Rajendra Prasad, Robinhood failed to resonate with audiences across markets.
