Rohit Shetty Reveals Arjun Kapoor’s State of mind Post Breakup With Malaika Arora
November 13, 2024: Arjun Kapoor’s return to the big screen as the formidable villain Zubair Hafiz, aka Danger Lanka, in Singham Again has been met with applause. The film, starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Ravi Kishan, and Deepika Padukone, marked Arjun’s fierce comeback, a transformation praised by fans and critics alike. Recently, Arjun took to Instagram to thank director Rohit Shetty, crediting him for the “perfect role, at the right time.”
In a heartfelt response, Rohit Shetty praised Arjun’s performance and perseverance, sharing, “When we released the promo, I remember people questioning if it would take five people to take down Arjun Kapoor. But they changed their views after watching the film.” Shetty noted that Arjun had put immense effort into the role, stating, “He gave his 10000% to his character.”
Shetty also revealed that Arjun was dealing with a challenging phase during the shoot, coping with trolling and setbacks in his career. “I know what he was going through,” Shetty shared, emphasising how difficult it is to perform well under such scrutiny. He added, “People are only talking about Arjun Kapoor’s character, despite the film’s big cast.”
Reflecting on his own experience in the industry, Shetty spoke about the importance of faith and trust, explaining that while box office success matters, loyalty and support within the industry are equally significant.
