Rolling Stones Legend, Mick Jagger, 81, Engaged to 37-Year-Old Melanie Hamrick
April 12, 2025: Mick Jagger is still rocking hearts at 81 — and apparently, one very special heart in particular. The iconic Rolling Stones frontman is engaged to longtime girlfriend and ballet choreographer Melanie Hamrick, 37, marking one of the most unexpected celebrity revelations of the year.

The couple, who have been together since meeting during a Stones tour stop in Japan in 2014, share an 8-year-old son, Deveraux. But it turns out their engagement isn’t new at all. In fact, Melanie revealed that Mick proposed “two or three years ago”, though the pair never made it public — until now.
In a candid interview with Paris Match, Melanie explained their unique arrangement:
“Maybe one day we’ll marry, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything.”
Despite having only one marriage (to Bianca Jagger), Mick has had a long line of headline-making relationships — from Marianne Faithfull to Jerry Hall and the late L’Wren Scott. Now, Hamrick appears to have brought a sense of stability and family to the rockstar’s life.
Melanie has previously joked about the ring she wears, calling it a “promise ring” while acknowledging that yes, Mick gave it to her and yes, it’s on that finger.
Jagger has fathered eight children over the decades — four of whom are older than Hamrick.
