Romantic-Comedy 'Nobody Wants This' Officially Renewed For Second Season
October 11, 2024: Great news for fans of Nobody Wants This! Netflix has officially renewed the hit romantic comedy for a second season.
The show, which stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, follows the unique relationship between a non-Jewish podcast host and a rabbi as they navigate cultural differences. The renewal came just two weeks after the show’s successful debut on Netflix, signaling its popularity.
However, season 2 will see some changes behind the scenes. Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, both alums from Girls, have joined as new showrunners and executive producers. They’ll be working alongside returning executive producers like Erin Foster (the show’s creator), Sara Foster, Bell, and others. Erin Foster, who based much of the series on her own life experiences, expressed her excitement about continuing the story with the new team, focusing on the importance of healthy relationships.
The writers’ room for the new season has already been active, with hopes for season 2 to air in 2025.
