Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively made a rare public appearance at Saturday Night Live's 50th-anniversary celebration, their first major outing since the legal controversy involving Blake and her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. True to his comedic nature, Ryan couldn’t resist making light of the situation—much to Blake’s apparent surprise.

During the event, hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler spotted Reynolds and Lively in the audience and greeted them with, “Ryan! How’s it going?” To which Ryan quipped, “Great! Why, what have you heard?”
