Sabrina Carpenter Drops Grammy-Inspired Deluxe Album Featuring Dolly Parton

Following her historic win at the 2024 Grammy Awards, American singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter is treating her fans to something extra special. Just two days after securing her first-ever Grammy wins, including Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album, the ‘Espresso’ singer announced the release of the deluxe edition of her album Short n’ Sweet. The new version of the album includes a highly anticipated collaboration with country music legend Dolly Parton.

Taking to Instagram to express her gratitude, Carpenter shared her excitement, writing, “Thank you for giving this album 2 Grammys.” Fans who have been following her journey now have even more to celebrate with the deluxe edition, which features fan-favorites like “Taste” and “Espresso.” However, the real highlight is the new version of “Please Please Please,” this time featuring none other than Dolly Parton.

Carpenter couldn’t contain her excitement about the collaboration, saying, “Yes, that does say featuring Miss Dolly Parton… she wouldn’t want me to swear but holy s–t!!!!!” In addition to the exciting remix, the deluxe edition also includes fresh tracks such as “15 Minutes,” “Couldn’t Make It Any Harder,” and “Bad Reviews.” Fans will also get a chance to hear “Busy Woman,” a song that was initially exclusive to online platforms.

In her post, Carpenter shared that she wrote “Busy Woman” shortly after completing the album and expressed her love for the track, calling it one of her favorites. She added that she wanted to share it with her fans as a heartfelt thank you for all their support.

Carpenter’s fans will also be excited to hear the full version of the catchy song with the line “If you want my kisses, I’ll be your perfect misses,” which had been teased earlier. The Short n’ Sweet Deluxe Edition will be available to fans on Valentine’s Day.

This year marked Sabrina Carpenter’s first-ever appearance at the Grammy Awards, where she received six nominations, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year. In addition to her groundbreaking wins, she made her Grammy debut performance, delivering a captivating vaudeville-inspired mash-up of her hits “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”

The deluxe edition of Short n’ Sweet is sure to keep Carpenter’s fans buzzing, especially with the unforgettable collaboration with Dolly Parton adding an extra layer of excitement to an already celebrated album.
