Los Angeles [US], June 17: Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter has proven once again that she’s not one to shy away from online criticism. The 26-year-old singer recently fired back at a social media user who took a jab at the cover of her upcoming album Man’s Best Friend.
On Monday, after Carpenter unveiled the cover art—which features her on hands and knees in a short black dress and heels—a user on X (formerly Twitter) questioned, “Does she have a personality outside of ***?”
Carpenter’s fiery response quickly went viral: “Girl, yes, and it is goooooood.”

The first single from the project, “Manchild,” dropped on June 5, building anticipation for the full album.
Carpenter is riding high after the massive success of her 2024 release Short n’ Sweet, which featured chart-toppers like “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” and “Bed Chem.” She took home two major wins at the 67th GRAMMY Awards—Best Pop Vocal Album (Short n’ Sweet) and Best Pop Solo Performance (Espresso).
With Man’s Best Friend, Sabrina continues to assert her creative confidence, making it clear that she’s charting her own path, on her own terms.
