Sachin Tendulkar praises Vicky Kaushal for his performance in Sam Bahadur

On Sunday, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar praised actor Vicky Kaushal for his performance in the biographical drama “Sam Bahadur” after seeing it.
Sachin posted a number of photos of himself, his wife, and Vicky on Instagram.
He added the following to the post: “Loved Sam Bahadur. A must-watch movie for all generations to learn about our nation’s history and to appreciate Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw’s bravery and selflessness. Because of Vicky Kaushal’s outstanding performance, Sam Bahadur seems to be standing right in front of us.”

Sachin gave a positive review of the movie and Vicky’s performance after seeing it.

Sachin Tendulkar and his spouse Anjali Tendulkar went to the special screening of “Sam Bahadur” on Saturday night.

Vicky wrote a note on his Instagram account expressing his excitement about meeting Sachin at the screening.
“My childhood hero saw my film today!” was written in the note. #IAmOk !!! [] Thank you for your kind remarks, @sachintendulkar Sir. I will always treasure them.”
On Day 1, “Sam Bahadur” had a respectable opening day at the box office.
Cricket players Ajit Agarkar and Zaheer Khan were present at the screening in addition to Tendulkar.
In India, the movie made Rs 6.25 crores on its first day of release.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted something on Instagram with the caption, “#SamBahadur gained momentum towards evening shows on Day 1… For a respectable weekend total, business must grow on Saturday and Sunday. Fri. is Rs. 6.25 cr. #India biz.”

The film, which was directed by Meghna Gulzar, featured Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the key parts.
“Sam Bahadur” draws inspiration from the life of Sam Manekshaw, the first Field Marshal of India. He served in the army for more than forty years and five wars. As the first officer in the Indian Army to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal, he made history. Eloquently referred to as ‘Sam Bahadur,’ Manekshaw guided the Indian Army to triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, culminating in the formation of Bangladesh.
During his military tenure, Manekshaw was instrumental in both the 1948 liberation of Hyderabad and the 1947 Indo-Pak War.

Vicky commented on landing the movie’s main role: “Being Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is a great honour and a great responsibility. We have put our all into bringing one of India’s greatest heroes to life on screen. I feel privileged to be involved in this incredibly motivating project.”
Vicky’s second project with Meghna Gulazar, following “Raazi,” is “Sam Bahadur.”
