Saif Ali Khan’s Doctors To Consult With Family On Moving Him To Regular Ward

January 17, 2025: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who was attacked during a burglary at his Bandra residence, remains under medical care in the ICU at Lilavati Hospital. The latest update from his doctors indicates that they will soon make a decision, in consultation with Saif’s family, regarding transferring him from the ICU to a general ward.

The incident occurred around 2:30 am on Thursday, when an intruder allegedly confronted Saif’s maid. As Saif intervened, the situation escalated into a violent altercation, leaving the actor with several stab wounds. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where a surgery was performed to treat a serious spinal injury, caused by a knife lodged in his thoracic spinal cord. The surgery successfully removed a 2.5-inch-long knife from his spine and repaired leaking spinal fluid.

In the wake of the attack, Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, issued a statement urging the media and paparazzi to respect their family’s privacy during this difficult time. She expressed gratitude for the support they have received but requested space for the family to cope with the traumatic events and heal.

Kareena’s statement highlighted the emotional strain and safety concerns caused by the constant media attention and called for understanding and cooperation from the public.
