In the clip, Saif seems visibly irritated as Ranbir tries to guide him towards the screening area. Saif is heard responding with a curt “Okay,” sparking speculation about what might have caused the tension.
Despite the brief awkwardness, the Kapoor family continued to pose for photos and laugh together, suggesting the incident didn’t overshadow the evening’s celebrations.

The Raj Kapoor Film Festival is showcasing 10 of his most celebrated films, spanning nearly four decades. The lineup includes classics like Aag (1948), Barsaat (1949), Awaara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Sangam (1964), Mera Naam Joker (1970), and Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985). Each film reflects Raj Kapoor’s profound impact on Indian cinema.
Saif and Ranbir had earlier joined the Kapoor family to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, inviting him to the festival and discussing Raj Kapoor’s enduring legacy. The initiative is a testament to the late actor-director’s pivotal contributions to Indian cinema.
