Mohit Suri’s romantic hit starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda gets a quiet re-release in select cities

February 7, 2026: Just weeks before Valentine’s Day 2026, last year’s romantic favourite Saiyaara has quietly made its way back to cinema halls. The Mohit Suri–directed musical romance, which turned debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda into breakout stars, is being re-released without any official announcement from the makers. Show listings have surfaced on online ticketing platforms, with screenings currently available in select metro cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune. The timing aligns perfectly with Valentine’s Week, offering couples and fans a chance to revisit the film’s emotional journey on the big screen at relatively lower ticket prices.

Saiyaara follows the story of Krish, a troubled young man battling personal trauma, whose life changes after he discovers the poetry notebook of Vaani, a woman recovering from heartbreak after being abandoned at the altar. As music becomes their emotional bridge, the two form a deep bond, only to face a heartbreaking turn when Vaani is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s. The film delicately explores themes of love, memory, loss and resilience, earning praise for its soulful storytelling and understated performances.

Originally released on July 18, 2025, Saiyaara enjoyed a strong theatrical run of over 50 days and went on to collect more than ₹569.75 crore worldwide, according to trade estimates. The film later premiered on Netflix on September 12, 2025, extending its reach to a wider audience. It also received acclaim from industry insiders, including Karan Johar, who lauded the debut performances of both lead actors. With its surprise return to theatres, Saiyaara appears poised to once again strike an emotional chord with audiences this Valentine’s season.
