Salman Drops ‘Maatrubhumi’ Teaser

First song from Battle of Galwan to release ahead of Republic Day

January 23, 2026: Salman Khan has unveiled the teaser of the first song from his much-anticipated film Battle of Galwan. Titled “Maatrubhumi”, the teaser was released on the same day Sunny Deol’s Border 2 arrived in theatres. The makers have announced that the full song will be released on Saturday, January 24, just ahead of Republic Day.

Sharing the teaser, Salman Khan Films wrote, “For the nation,” followed by “Song Out Tomorrow!” The 15-second clip opens with visuals of a rugged mountain range, setting a solemn and powerful tone. The sound of a bugle introduces the music, which gradually builds in intensity, culminating in the sight of the Indian tricolour flying high—symbolising the unwavering resolve of Indian soldiers. The teaser closes with the film’s title, Battle of Galwan.

The patriotic impact of the song is further strengthened by Himesh Reshammiya’s music and Sameer Anjaan’s lyrics. Sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, Maatrubhumi promises to add emotional depth and nationalistic fervour to the film, setting the stage for its Republic Day release.
