Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna to Begin Shooting for ‘Sikandar’ on June 18

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna are gearing up to start shooting for the highly-anticipated action thriller ‘Sikandar’. This film, already a hot topic among fans, has just released an exciting update that further fuels the anticipation.

On Monday, Nadiadwala Grandson, the production house behind the film, shared the much-awaited news on social media. They captioned the post, “The #NGEFamily is super excited to share the date of our first day of shoot for #Sikandar on the 18th of June with the BIGGEST Air Action sequence! #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss. Releasing in cinemas EID 2025.”

Last month, Nadiadwala Grandson officially announced Rashmika Mandanna’s participation in the film via social media, stating, “Welcoming the fabulous @rashmika_mandanna to star opposite @beingsalmankhan in #Sikandar! Can’t wait for their on-screen magic to unfold on EID 2025!” Rashmika herself expressed her excitement on Instagram Stories, writing, “You guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update and here it is. Surprise!! I’m truly grateful and honoured to be a part of Sikandar.”

‘Sikandar’ marks another exciting collaboration between Salman Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, following their previous successful films ‘Kick’, ‘Judwaa’, and ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, known for his high-octane action films, ‘Sikandar’ promises to be a cinematic treat for fans when it hits theaters on Eid 2025.
