🗣️ “My Timings Are Different, Not My Discipline”

Speaking to India Today, Salman said:

“There are many stories about me coming late and not being serious. But I’ve done over 100 films. That wouldn’t be possible if I were always late or not committed.”

He explained that while some actors begin early, his day starts later due to other responsibilities — from paperwork to workouts, followed by time to understand the scene. Once on set, he adds, he rarely even goes back to his vanity van.

🔍 “False Perceptions Hurt My Image”

Salman revealed that even light-hearted remarks from friends sometimes backfire:

“People assume I don’t put in much effort — that I just show up and do my thing. That’s not true. A lot of my work is mental — thinking, analysing. I’m a writer’s son — it comes naturally to me.”

He shared that such perceptions can “scare people away from working with me”, making them wrongly believe he lacks professionalism.
