Salman Khan Cheers Sooraj Pancholi as Kesari Veer Hits Theatres

May 23, 2025: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan showed his support for actor Sooraj Pancholi as the latter’s new film Kesari Veer hit theaters on Friday. Salman, who had launched Sooraj in the 2015 romantic action film Hero, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt video montage celebrating their camaraderie.

The post featured images of Salman and Sooraj resting their heads on folded arms, gazing intensely at the camera. Both donned black shirts, with Salman’s slicked-back hair contrasting Sooraj’s top knot. The montage played the song “Main hoon hero tera” in the background, underscoring the emotional message. Sooraj also shared the same image, captioning it: “#UNCONDITIONAL SIR! @beingsalmankhan.”

Kesari Veer, directed by Prince Dhiman, is a historical action film that stars Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma alongside Sooraj Pancholi. The story follows Hamirji Gohil, a valiant warrior who fought against the Tughlaq Empire to protect the Somnath Temple and the Hindu faith.

Salman wrote in his caption, “Abhi raat hai, subah Sooraj chamkega @soorajpancholi,” expressing optimism for Sooraj’s future success.

Sooraj responded warmly in the comments, writing: “Love u sirr!!”

On a different note, Salman Khan recently faced security concerns as Mumbai Police arrested two individuals — 23-year-old Jitendra Kumar Singh and 32-year-old Isha Chhabra — for attempting to trespass into his residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra (West).

Meanwhile, Salman was last seen on the big screen in Sikandar, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, which released in March.
