Salman Khan Completes ‘Sikandar’ Shoot, Ditches Beard For Clean-Shaven Look

March 15, 2025: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has officially wrapped up the shooting of his much-anticipated action thriller Sikandar. The actor’s transformation post-shoot is drawing attention, as he chose to get a ‘clean-shaven’ look immediately after completing the last scene of the film.

According to a press note shared by the film’s team, Salman Khan had kept a beard throughout the shoot, which was part of his character’s look in Sikandar. On the final day of shooting, which took place around 8:30 PM in Bandra, Salman and his co-star Rashmika Mandanna shot a patchwork sequence. Once the shoot wrapped, Salman went straight to his clean-shaven look, something he usually prefers in his personal life.

The final leg of the shoot took place in Mumbai, where Salman Khan was joined by Mandanna, director A.R. Murugadoss, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The team had completed filming over the span of 90 days across locations like Mumbai and Hyderabad. Sikandar promises high-energy action sequences, with four songs, three dance numbers, and five major action sequences.

Last month, Salman Khan gave fans a glimpse of his intense avatar in Sikandar through a teaser that introduced his character, Sanjay, affectionately called Sikandar by his grandmother. The teaser showcased Khan’s massy and action-packed persona, featuring punchy lines like “Kayde mein raho fayde mein rahoge” and “Insaaf nahi hisab karne aaya hun,” delivered in his signature style.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, known for his work in Ghajini and Thuppakki, the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, marking Salman’s reunion with him after their blockbuster 2014 collaboration Kick. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Sikandar this Eid, with the promise of more high-octane action from Khan. Additionally, Salman Khan will also appear in Kick 2 in the coming months.
