Salman Khan Gets New Death Threat: Suspect Warns of Breaking In, Bombing Car, Mumbai Police Launch Probe

April 14, 2025: Bollywood megastar Salman Khan has once again received a serious death threat, according to the Mumbai Police. The threat was sent via WhatsApp to the Transport Department in Worli, Mumbai, on Sunday, warning of an attempt to either barge into the actor’s home or blow up his car with a bomb.

Authorities confirmed that the threat, sent from an unknown number, specifically targeted Salman, saying, “Actor Salman Khan was threatened with death by barging into his house… threat to blow up Salman Khan’s car with a bomb.”

A case has been registered at the Worli Police Station, and an investigation is currently underway to identify and apprehend the sender.

This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has been targeted. In November 2024, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly issued a threat demanding the actor either apologize or pay ₹5 crore to stay alive. That message ominously warned: “If he does not do so, we will kill him. Our gang is still active.” Earlier that week, Salman had received another threat demanding ₹2 crore as ransom.

Security around the actor has been heightened, and police are taking all necessary precautions considering the recurring nature of the threats.
