Salman Khan In Talks With Raj and DK
Action Comedy Collaboration Sparks Buzz
January 6, 2026: Salman Khan is reportedly in early talks with filmmaker duo Raj and DK for a large scale action comedy. The project is said to blend Salman’s star power with the directors sharp storytelling. Sources say the actor has heard the concept and shown interest though a final decision is pending.
If greenlit the film will be mounted on a big budget and aim to present Salman in a slightly different space from his usual mass roles. The makers are keen to move beyond a typical masala template while retaining high energy entertainment.
Meanwhile Salman is gearing up for Battle of Galwan directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Based on the 2020 border clash the film also stars Chitrangada Singh and is scheduled for theatrical release on April 17 2026.
