With a win percentage of 45.00, he is among India’s most successful skippers, guiding the team to the number one ranking in ICC Test Rankings. He also led India to a whitewash victory over Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2010-11 and 2012-13.
In T20Is, Dhoni led India in 72 matches, winning 41, losing 28, with one tie and two no-results, boasting a win percentage of 56.94. He also steered Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to five IPL titles and two Champions League T20 titles.
