December 1, 2024: The latest episode of Bigg Boss 18 stirred up drama during the Weekend Ka Vaar segment, as Salman Khan intervened in a heated argument between contestants Avinash Mishra and Chahat Pandey.
The altercation began during a task called “Kick the Side Kick,” when Avinash called Chahat “gawaar” (meaning “uneducated” or “uncultured”) after she made a comment about his behavior.
The tension started when Chahat remarked that if Vivian asked Avinash to wash utensils, he’d do it meticulously, suggesting he could be obedient. Avinash, clearly irritated, fired back by calling her “gawaar,” which set off a verbal clash. Chahat responded by using the giant slippers involved in the task to hit Avinash, further escalating the confrontation.
Salman Khan, acting as the mediator, sharply criticized Avinash for using such language, asking, “Gawaar kya hai? What is this language? Ye kya badtameezi kar rahe ho?” (What kind of disrespectful behavior is this?). Avinash defended himself, questioning if an “educated” person would act like Chahat did in the task, which further fueled the argument.
The incident ignited online debates among Bigg Boss fans, with many discussing the use of the term “gawaar” and the overall dynamics between the contestants.
In addition to the Bigg Boss drama, Salman Khan’s professional life is also in the spotlight. He is gearing up for his upcoming action-packed film Sikandar, which will release in Eid 2025. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar will see Salman sharing the screen with actress Rashmika Mandanna. This film marks the reunion of Salman and Sajid, following their successful collaborations in Kick, Judwaa, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Additionally, Salman has Kick 2 and the much-anticipated Tiger Vs Pathaan lined up.
