Salman Khan Talks About How ‘Sikandar’ Came To Life, Says ‘Ye Murugadoss Ki Script Thi…’

March 29, 2025: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently shared some fascinating insights into the making of his much-anticipated film Sikandar during his promotional interviews. The actor revealed how the story of the film came to life, crediting renowned director A.R. Murugadoss for coming up with the original script.

Salman explained that the script was first narrated to producer Sajid Nadiadwala by Murugadoss, who felt the story would be perfect for the actor. “Actually, ye Murugadoss ki script thi aur Murugadoss ne Sajid Nadiadwala ko sunayi. Agle hi din Sajid ka mujhe phone aaya ki sun lena aur shayad tumhe pasand aaye,” Salman recalled. He went on to say that after listening to the script, he immediately knew he wanted to be a part of the project, saying, “Toh maine suna… maine bola, ‘Isme pasand na aane wali kya cheez hai? Kab start karoge?'”

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, known for his successful Tamil and Hindi films like Ghajini and Thuppakki, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s reunion with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, after their 2014 blockbuster Kick. The film, which promises a thrilling action-packed experience, is set to release on March 30, 2025. Fans can expect much more than what was shown in the trailer, as Salman teases a movie full of surprises and emotional depth beyond the action.

With a strong team behind it, Sikandar is expected to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
