February 2, 2025: Ashneer Grover, former judge on Shark Tank India and co-founder of BharatPe, recently hit back at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, responding to comments made by Khan during a Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar episode aired in November 2024.

During the episode, Khan had confronted Grover, accusing him of making false claims about their past interactions. Specifically, Salman mentioned that he had never met Ashneer before, a statement that Grover vehemently denied.

In a viral video of Grover speaking at NIT Kurukshetra, he accused Khan of “creating unnecessary drama” by making such a statement. Grover expressed his frustration, pointing out that as the brand ambassador of BharatPe, Salman would not have been able to take the role without first meeting him. He added that his company operated under strict oversight, and everything had to go through him.

Grover recalled an incident where he was allegedly told by Salman’s manager that the actor wouldn’t take a photo with him during a sponsored ad shoot, leading Grover to believe there was a lack of professionalism. On Bigg Boss 18, Khan responded to these remarks, stating, “We never had discussions. I saw what you said, you presented that we befooled you.” He expressed disappointment over the way Grover had portrayed their relationship and advised him to be careful with how he presents himself.

In his response, Grover defended his actions, insisting that he had gone to the show peacefully when called but was now caught in drama created by Khan’s recent statements. He challenged Salman’s claim of not knowing his name, questioning why he had been invited if that were the case.
