The trailer of A.R. Murugadoss’s directorial ‘Sikandar’ promises a thrilling blend of action, romance, and massy dialogues, gearing up for a grand March 30, 2025 release.
Mumbai, March 23:
The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated trailer of Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, has dropped, setting the internet ablaze with excitement. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is slated for a festive release on March 30, 2025, coinciding with Gudi Padwa and Ugadi celebrations.
Unveiled on Salman Khan’s official Instagram handle, the three-minute trailer showcases the superstar in full-on action mode. Introducing his character as “Rajkot ka Raja”, Salman Khan returns to his trademark larger-than-life avatar—this time as Sikandar, also called Raja Sahab and Sanjay Sahab by different characters.
The trailer is a full entertainment package—romantic sequences featuring Rashmika, hard-hitting dialogues, dramatic stunts, and groovy dance numbers. Rashmika adds grace and sparkle to the narrative, playing the love interest who is both charmed and concerned by Sikandar’s wild persona.
Speaking about the delay in trailer release, director A.R. Murugadoss explained in an interview with ANI, “CGI and music were still being fine-tuned. We wanted to deliver only the best, and now the team is proud of the result.”
Last month’s teaser already gave a taste of the adrenaline-filled world of Sikandar, with iconic dialogues like “Kayde mein raho, fayde mein rahoge” and “Insaaf nahi, hisaab karne aaya hoon”, both delivered with Salman’s signature swag.
The film recently wrapped its final schedule in Mumbai after a 90-day shoot across multiple locations including Hyderabad and Mumbai. Sikandar also marks a reunion between Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, who last collaborated on the 2014 blockbuster Kick.
With the powerhouse combination of Murugadoss’s action storytelling, Nadiadwala’s production vision, and Salman’s mass appeal, Sikandar is set to be one of 2025’s biggest releases.
