May 8, 2025: Singer Iulia Vantur, widely known for her close association with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is stepping into the world of acting with her debut role in the English short film Echoes of Us. The film, which is currently in production, also features renowned actor Deepak Tijori and Spanish actress Alessandra Whelan Merediz in key roles.
Although Iulia has primarily made her mark in the entertainment industry with her singing talents, she’s excited to explore a new facet of her artistic expression. Recently, she captured the hearts of her fans with her rendition of Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic song Lag Jaa Gale, featured in Salman Khan’s movie Sikandar. Her soulful voice had already garnered significant attention, but with her move into acting, Iulia is eager to showcase her versatility.
In an interview about her acting debut, Iulia shared her excitement and gratitude: “In the last few years, I’ve focused on my musical career. Echoes of Us is being helmed by director-producer Joe Rajan, while renowned actress and producer Pooja Batra is producing the short film in collaboration with Alliance Media Private Limited.
