With ticket prices peaking at ₹2200 in premium multiplexes and ₹700 in iconic single screens like Plaza, Salman Khan’s Sikandar is witnessing a blockbuster-level buzz ahead of its Eid release.
March 28, 2025: As Sikandar gears up for a grand Eid release on March 30, Salman Khan fans are proving that the superstar’s box office pull remains stronger than ever. Despite the trailer dropping just a week before release, demand for tickets is skyrocketing—so much so that prices in both multiplexes and single screens have surged dramatically.

The advance booking for the action-packed film opened on Thursday, and within hours, it became evident that Sikandar was one of the most anticipated releases of the season. Tickets in several premium multiplexes across metros like Mumbai and Delhi are priced at ₹2000 and above. In Mumbai, the luxe and director’s cut screens have listed prices up to ₹2200, while in Delhi-NCR, rates are hovering between ₹1600-₹1900—even regular seats in these cities are crossing ₹850-₹900.
What’s more surprising is the price surge at single screens. Plaza Cinema in Mumbai’s Dadar, known for catering to mass audiences, is charging ₹700 for recliner seats, an unusually steep rate for a single-screen. However, this doesn’t seem to be the norm across the country—other iconic halls like Delite in Delhi are still offering tickets in the ₹90–₹200 range.
Industry experts have mixed reactions. While many interpret the premium pricing as a reflection of massive demand, some believe it could alienate core Salman fans in tier-2 and mass markets. Still, the sold-out shows across metro cities suggest the demand outweighs the pricing concerns—for now.
In terms of advance bookings, Sikandar has clocked nearly ₹4 crore within the first 24 hours, and with two more days to go, the numbers are expected to rise sharply. As with most Salman Khan films, strong spot bookings in smaller centres could give a significant boost to opening day numbers.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Sathyaraj, and will be released worldwide on March 30, just in time for Eid celebrations.
