March 11, 2025: Actor and model Sam Asghari has shared insights into how his marriage to pop superstar Britney Spears influenced his career. In a recent interview on The Nikki and Brie Show, Asghari acknowledged that his relationship with Spears played a significant role in giving him a career boost, though he clarified that it wasn’t the sole factor behind his success.
When asked if he would “banish” someone for claiming that his career success was only due to his relationship with Spears, Asghari initially agreed but later explained his viewpoint. “It’s a hand to hand,” Asghari said. “I mean, that’s what happened to me when I started acting. I’ve been an actor ever since high school. We met on an acting set with my last partner [Spears] who I was married to, but I couldn’t help that she was the biggest superstar in the world and that kind of gave me a kick start.”
Asghari also discussed the gray areas of fame, noting that many people achieve success by association. “You know, everybody’s famous by association,” he said. “Whether you work with someone or you… it’s just how it is.” This comment highlighted the complicated nature of fame in the entertainment industry, where connections and collaborations often play a significant role in success.

When asked if he would “banish” someone for lying about their “body count,” Asghari responded with humor and seriousness, saying, “Absolutely. Of course. Yeah. It’s like a used car. You come over here, you can’t reverse the mileage on that car. That’s illegal. That’s against the law.”
Asghari and Spears married in June 2022, but their relationship ended in separation in 2023, and their divorce was finalized in May 2024. Since then, Asghari has moved on and is currently dating Brooke Irvine, confirming their relationship on Instagram in January 2025.
