March 21, 2025: YouTuber and comedian Samay Raina has decided to reschedule his India tour amid the ongoing controversy surrounding his show India’s Got Latent. The decision comes after an FIR was filed against Raina and other prominent YouTubers and influencers associated with the show for promoting obscenity and vulgar content.
Taking to Instagram, Samay Raina informed his followers about the tour rescheduling, assuring those who had already purchased tickets that they would receive refunds. He wrote, “Hello guys, I am rescheduling my India tour. You all will get the refunds shortly, see you soon.”

The controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent erupted after an FIR was filed earlier this month against Raina, YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani, Ranveer Allahbadia, and others involved in the show. The FIR was filed based on allegations that the show contained sexually explicit discussions and promoted obscenity during publicly accessible YouTube broadcasts.
Ashish Chanchlani and Ranveer Allahbadia have already approached the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to record their statements in relation to the matter. The Maharashtra cyber police have summoned over 30 individuals for questioning, though Samay Raina has yet to have his statement recorded.
The show came under intense scrutiny following an appearance by Ranveer Allahbadia, who made controversial remarks on the show. In one particular incident, Allahbadia asked a contestant an offensive question, which quickly went viral and sparked outrage online. Social media users slammed Allahbadia for his inappropriate comments, adding fuel to the ongoing controversy.
As Samay Raina reschedules his India tour and promises refunds, it remains to be seen how the situation surrounding India’s Got Latent will unfold.
