June 22, 2025: Former television actress Sana Khan announced the heartbreaking news of her mother Saeeda’s passing on Tuesday.
Sharing an emotional message via her Instagram Stories, the Bigg Boss 6 alum revealed that her mother had been battling a serious health condition before she “returned to Allah.”
“Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. My beloved mother Mrs. Saeeda has back returned to Allah after struggling with a bad health condition,” Sana wrote, expressing her sorrow and faith.
Sana also shared that namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayer) would take place at Oshiwara Qabrasthan in Mumbai after Isha prayers at 9:45 PM. She requested followers to pray for her late mother’s peace.
While she did not disclose her mother’s age or the specific illness, the news has come as a shock to her fans and followers. Many took to social media to offer condolences and prayers, highlighting the love and respect Sana frequently showed towards her mother.
